When dreams become reality...
The beginnings of the race go back to the period when my friends and I were eagerly swallowing every Discovery channel broadcast of the most demanding psycho-physical competitions which took place in the regions where no man has gone before. We all wanted to become a part of this story. But the story also had its price and at the time, the price was too high for us. But the dream went on. And we lived to see the day when a similar competition took place in the neighboring Croatia. We became a part of the story...the story about sweat, blisters and unspoken words.
The dream grew to become an idea. We wanted to realize it in Slovenia as well. We could not have done it without our friends, who have always been there for us. It wasn't easy, but we weren't about to give up. Our idea slowly became a reality. We had a lot of experience from the toughest scout orientation competitions in Slovenia and in the organization of competitions within the Scout Association Rod Jezerski zmaj Velenje.
