The beginnings of the race go back to the period when my friends and I were eagerly swallowing every Discovery channel broadcast of the most demanding psycho-physical competitions which took place in the regions where no man has gone before. We all wanted to become a part of this story. But the story also has its price and at the time, the price was too high for us. But the dream went on. And we lived to see the day when a similar competition took place in the neighboring Croatia. We became a part of the story...the story about sweat, blisters and unspoken words. |
