1.9. Team sponsors and donors can be advertised on any part of the competitors' equipment except on the race number given by the organizer. It is also not allowed to promote any sponsors or donors on any other equipment provided by the organizer (boats, vessels, life jackets...).

II. TEAM'S EQUIPMENT

2. Every team will receive a GPS transmitter and will have to carry it throughout the race. The weight of the transmitter is 250 g.

2.1. Every team member is bound to carry all the equipment specified. Other equipment depends on the sector the team decides to take.

2.3. Helmet: a helmet must be worn by team members during the cycling part of the track, during every rope-related activity, during more difficult mountain parts of the course and during some determined water activities. Because of that the helmet is a part of required equipment in these specified parts of the course. Without the helmet a team member (or a team) cannot start the event or continue with a certain sector or its related activities.

2.4. Life jacket: life jackets must be worn during rafting and other water-related activities. Because of that the life jacket is a part of required equipment in the open waters, lakes, unless decided otherwise by the organizer. Without the life jacket a team member (or a team) cannot start the race or take part in any other open water-related activities.

2.5. Mobile phones: in the name of sportsmanship and fair play it is expected that mobile phones are not used for inter-team communication or gathering any useful information. But it is recommended to carry a mobile phone if any emergency occurs.

2.11. The organizer has the right to hand out the GPS Tracker to the teams, but they must be carried from the start to the finish.

III. TERMS OF THE RACE

3.1. As soon as a team arrives at the place of the event, the organizer escorts all the participants to their camping site and introduces to team captains the rules of the camp life, timetable of the event and other necessary information. At the arrival every team and team member get their ARS accreditation, which has to be visible at all times.

3.2. Race numbers are determined by the organizer at the registration. All teams start together.

3.3 The organizer provides competitors with proper topographical maps for the whole race.

3.5. The organizer will take all the bikes to the start of the cycling section and will transport them back to the starting or finishing point when after the cycling part is completed.

3.6 It is up to competitors to protect their bikes with protective wrapping/packing and mark them with their race number. If so, the competitors will need a bag in which the wrapping material will be disposed after the cycling part of the route. Competitors can also use bicycle bags made out of firm cloth.

3.7. In case of team disqualification or withdrawal the organizer will transport the bikes to the finish where the teams will collect them. If the team wants to collect their bikes before the finish they will have to sign the collection agreement and show their personal I.D. The team then has to use its own transport for the bikes.

IV. RULES OF THE RACE

4.1. The race course consists of multiple check-points (CP). Certain check points are obligatory, others not. The obligatory CPs have set time limits when the are opened or closed. In case the team doesn't reach the certain obligatory CP, all the CPs between the previous and this obligatory CP are not valid! Between the obligatory CPs there can be several »small« CPs (subpoints), which all count 1 point if picked-up.

Example: 1 1a 1b 1c 1d 1e 2 2a 2b 2c 3 3a 3b 4...
Obligatory points: 1, 2, 3, 4, ...
Non-obligatory points: 1a, 1b, 1c, ...

4.4. Teams must pick up CPs in a certain order (except subpoints which can be picked up randomly). Teams can leave out CPs if they think they are too slow.

4.5. Criteria for the final placement of the teams is:
- the highest number of picked-up CPs
- in case two or more teams have an equal number of points, the time from the start to the finish is also evaluated. The team with the fastest time wins.

4.6. Check point (CP) is a marked place on the race course where the teams will have access to their »boxes« with personal equipment, food and drink. The organizer will transport all the extra equipment, food and drinks required for the rest of the route to the checkpoint. The equipment has to be arranged by the teams themselves and packed into marked bags or boxes which must not exceed 100 L per team member.

Boxes are »travelling« through the race course at a set time-schedule. In case of disqualification or withdrawal the teams will be able to collect their equipment at the finish line. If the team wants to collect their bags/boxes before the finish, they will have to sign the - collection agreement and show their personal I.D. The team then has to use its own transport to pick up the boxes.

4.7 Night zone - Members of the organizing committee consider some parts of the route to be very dangerous. That is why passing through these parts of the course in night time is strictly forbidden. Night zones are defined by the organizer. Teams which arrive at the night zone after the beginning or before the ending of determined hour, will be held at that point until the zone opens again. Teams should include the night zones in their strategy. The teams will be notified about the night zones before the start of the race. Teams that will continue their course disregarding this rule will be disqualified.

4.8 Restricted areas - Because of the safety and law restrictions the organizer can set some main roads or certain territories as restricted areas through which a team must not move. Disobeying such restrictions means immediate disqualification of the team.

4.9 If one of the team members is injured, a doctor or organizers determine whether the team member can continue the race. A team can proceed without the injured member but is not able to compete for the title (valid only in for Explorer category). First aid and medical care will be provided where possible. Contestants may also be hospitalised. Other contestants of the team can be taken to the finish of the route course by the organizers. In this case the team is disqualified. Under special conditions and with the organizers' approval, it is possible for the rest of the team to continue with the race, but of course not for the title (valid only for Explorer category). Teams should bare in mind that course distances are big and so medical help can't be on the spot straight away. Therefore the knowledge of first aid is essential for at least one of the team members.

4.10. It is also strictly forbidden to use any connection devices (mobile phones...), any other topographical maps, cadastral maps and other relief showings not being given by the organizers.
Help of support teams during the race is not permitted. Not following these rules means immediate disqualification.

4.11. When arriving to the checkpoint every team must identify itself by the means provided by the organizer and perform all necessary tasks selected for that CP. If a team does not introduce required things or does not perform required tasks, it will be considered that a team has not been at a certain checkpoint.

3.12. Each team must have the same number and people in the team from start to finish. During the race a team is not allowed to separate unless approved by the organizer as written in the article 4.9. of these rules. We will only consider those teams that come to a checkpoint in full number (that is 4 in Explorer category or 2 in Rover category) to run for the title.

4.13 Every team that decides to withdraw must inform the members of the organizing committee. A team can only quit on live checkpoints (set by the organizer) and at the start or finish. The teams will be carried to the finish line when the transport will be available.

4.15 During the race team members are not allowed to use open fire (with the exceptions of emergencies – night shelter, in which case the rules of safe fireplace must be taken into consideration, as well as keeping the nature safe and clean.) All the garbage must be stored in garbage bags (another obligatory part of the team equipment) and put in backpacks.

4.16. Organizers have all the rights to change a check point due to bad weather conditions or any other unpleasant circumstances. This change can affect the length of the route and also the time of removing the check points.

4.17 Medical treatment can be provided on the checkpoints, at the start and at the finish. In case of more difficult accidents medical treatment will be provided on the place of the accident. It has to be taken into consideration that some checkpoints are not quickly accessible because of the land configuration. Time needed for medical care is not excluded from the team's overall race time.

V. DISQUALIFICATIONS
The team can be disqualified or can get a time penalties in following cases:

5.1. In case of an accident every contestant is bound to help a fellow contestant. When not respecting this fair-play rule (even if a contestant is from another team) the team is disqualified. A special fair-play award will be presented at the end of the race. Special fair-play award will only be presented if the fellow contestant/team does something really humane.

5.2. If a team member cannot continue with the race, the team is immediately disqualified. Organizers can allow the remaining contestants to continue (As written in the Ch.9.4. this is valid only for Explorer category). The team will be left out from the overall official results.

5.3. The disqualified team that does not want to continue with the race must come to the nearest check point and inform the organizer about their decision.

5.4. Every team coming to the finish line not complete (doesn't have the same number of team members as on the start) is disqualified. Time and CPs are marked, but the team is left out from the overall official results.

5.5. If the team intentionally splits and continues the route separately (where this is not previously set by organizers), it will be disqualified.

5.6. Unfair behaviour, damaging of the environment and equipment (owned by the organizer or any other team) means the disqualification of the team (even if the damage was done only by one team member). During the event team members will be held materially and lawfully responsible for any damage done, according to laws and regulations valid in the Republic of Slovenia.

5.7. False team-member's identity or changing team members after starting the race means immediate disqualification.

5.8. If the team needs to be rescued from a situation by the organizer, the team is immediately disqualified. This rule does not apply for rescuing which was activated by the organizers (that means that the team that is being rescued did not call for help).

VI. BODIES OF THE RACE
The bodies of the event are the following:

6.1. Race organizers - Organizers will be wearing special tags.

6.2. Voluntary staff: all the personnel that is involved in preparing and supporting the race. They will be wearing special tags out given by the organizer. Voluntary staff is there to support the event and not to make decisions on the race itself.

VII. COMPLAINTS

7.1 Teams can file a written complaint to the race director or his assistant. A written complaint can only be submitted at the finish, 30 minutes after the whole team arrived to the finish line. All complaints must be in written form. A complaint deposit of 50 EUR must be paid and if a complaint is unreasonable the deposit is not refundable.

7.3. Committee for complaints consists of members of the organizing committee and one member of the first and last team (according to the overall standing at that moment) at the final line. Both team members can decline taking part in the appeal committee without giving any reasons. If this happens, the committee for complaints consists only of members of the organizing committee. The decisions are made by the majority of votes. The decisions of the committee are final.

7.4. The committee for complaints works "behind closed doors".

VIII. FINAL PROVISIONS

8.1. In case of an accident/problems etc; a team must call for help directly to the race organizers. The team is disqualified. Telephone numbers are written in roadbooks.

8.2. When needed, members of the organizing committee can remove a checkpoint according to their own judgement, without handicapping any team in the process.

8.3. Solely the organizers have the right to interpret these rules.

8.4. All the film and photograph material is a property of the Scout Association Društvo tabornikov Rod Jezerski zmaj Velenje (Šaleška 3, 3320 Velenje, Slovenia) and can be shown in public only with their permission. .
